How to use this document

Each row below names ONE element on the current page, names the proposed Option 1 replacement, names where to find it in the CMS (Liferay, judging by the lfr- class prefixes), and gives the one-line rationale.

The UX team takes this to their CMS and paste-replaces the strings. No HTML/CSS work needed. This is Option 1 — copy-only. Options 2–5 add layout/structure/visual changes; those are separate specs.

Imputed for v1 — flagged in every rationale that depends on it:
Numbers in the proposed copy that need confirmation — marked 🔵 CONFIRM in the rows below.
  1. Starting price "AED 850/year" — typical UAE entry-level number; needs GIG actual.
  2. "7 days average claim settlement" — needs real number from claims ops.
  3. "AED 280M+ paid in 2025" — needs real number from finance.
  4. "Munich Re reinsurance partner" — common UAE pattern, GIG-specific TBC.
  5. "12,400+ Google reviews · 4.6/5" — needs actual count + rating.

1 · Page-level metadata (SEO/GEO improvements)

FieldCurrentProposed Option 1WhereWhy
<title> Generic 2026-dated "Best Car Insurance" framing. "Comprehensive car insurance in the UAE — from AED 850 · GIG Gulf" 🔵 CMS → SEO settings → Page title Front-loads the product noun, names the price anchor, drops the year suffix (dates in titles age badly).
meta description Three generic adjectives (top / instant / affordable). "Comprehensive car insurance in the UAE from AED 850/year. UAE IA licensed since 1980. Average claim paid in 7 days. Quote on WhatsApp — English, Arabic, Hindi." 🔵 CMS → SEO settings → Meta description Replaces three adjectives with three named facts (price · regulator · claim-time). Adds WhatsApp + tri-lingual angle.
meta keywords Ten-phrase keyword-stuffed list. Delete the tag entirely. CMS → SEO settings → Keywords field The keywords meta has been ignored by every major search engine since 2009 and now flags pages as keyword-stuffed.

2 · Hero section

The hero (line 2704 in the saved page) is a video banner with text overlay. Critical finding: no <h1> tag in the entire page. The H1 grep returned zero matches. That's the single biggest SEO/GEO problem on the page.

ElementCurrentProposed Option 1WhereWhy
Hero headline Styled div/span inside .hero-desc. Not an H1. Wrap as proper <h1>: "Comprehensive car insurance in the UAE that pays when you need it." Fragment 5a82bf01-a0b4-…-7d7af77c3bb → headline → convert to H1 YMYL pages without H1s rank materially worse and get cited less by AI engines. Highest-leverage single change on the page.
Hero subhead Generic comparison/quote framing. "From AED 850/year · UAE Insurance Authority licensed since 1980 · Average claim paid in 7 days" 🔵 Same fragment, subhead element Three trust facts in twelve words. Anchors price, regulator, claim time before scroll.
Primary CTA Generic "Get a Quote" pattern. "Get my price on WhatsApp →" Hero primary CTA button Names the channel. WhatsApp is the page's biggest unfair advantage vs Sukoon/Beema and the current CTA hides it.
Secondary CTA Generic. "Speak to a specialist →" Hero secondary CTA Routes HNW buyers without a separate landing page. The 30%-brief segment split.

3 · Tabs — segment framing

ElementCurrentProposed Option 1WhereWhy
Tab 1 "PERSONAL" (org-chart language) "For me" button.mobile-tab.active Buyer-side framing beats GIG-side category labels.
Tab 2 "BUSINESS" "For my company" button.mobile-tab (second) Same logic, parallel construction.

4 · Cover-tier accordion

ElementCurrentProposed Option 1WhereWhy
Accordion 1 "Comprehensive – Perfect" "Comprehensive — pays for your car too" button.accordion-header (first) "Perfect" reads as puffery. The buyer's real question is the comp vs TPL difference; this answers it in three words.
Accordion 2 "Third Party" "Third Party only — UAE legal minimum" button.accordion-header (second) Names what Third Party is — the legal floor. Educates while the user hovers.
Cover amount (×3) "5 Million AED" / "3.5 Million AED" — currency-after-number. "AED 5 million third-party liability" / "AED 3.5 million third-party liability" h3.right-content-title Currency-before-number per brand AED rule. Names what the number is for (currently context-dependent).

5 · Free-services subsections

ElementCurrentProposed Option 1WhereWhy
Services title (×2) "FREE Services worth 750+ AED" (all-caps "FREE") "AED 750+ of services included in every Comprehensive policy" h3.accordion-body-minor-title (both) All-caps "FREE" reads as 2008 direct-response. "Included" carries the same claim without the shout.
GIG-only title "Only with GIG" "What you only get from GIG" h3.accordion-body-minor-title (third) Sharpens from a label to a promise. Invites a "let me see" click.

6 · Trust-strip — new element (no design change)

The live page has zero visible regulator / reinsurer / volume signals above the fold. Option 1 inserts a text-only trust strip.

ElementCurrentProposed Option 1WhereWhy
Trust strip (new) (none) "UAE IA licensed since 1980 · AED 280M claims paid 2025 🔵 · AED 3.5M TPL standard · Munich Re reinsurance 🔵 · RTA-approved garages · 4.6/5 Google · 12,400+ reviews 🔵" Below .hero section, above .lfr-layout-…-comprehensive-perfect Single most-cited weakness of the page in the internal feedback. Strip is text-only; no design change required. Five of six facts need Candace + claims ops + finance confirmation.

7 · Downloads section

ElementCurrentProposed Option 1WhereWhy
Section title "Motor Insurance documents" "The policy document, before you buy" h2.download-title A label becomes a value proposition (we don't hide the small print).

8 · FAQ — new section (highest GEO leverage)

The saved page has zero <details> / FAQ schema / Q&A structure. That's a missed AI-engine-citation opportunity. Option 1 inserts a six-question FAQ block before the footer, schema-marked FAQPage.

  1. What is the cheapest comprehensive car insurance in the UAE?
  2. How fast do GIG Gulf car insurance claims pay? 🔵
  3. Is GIG Gulf insurance licensed in the UAE?
  4. Does UAE car insurance cover driving in Oman?
  5. What's the difference between Comprehensive and Third Party in the UAE?
  6. What is agreed-value car insurance and who needs it?

Each answer is one paragraph (40–60 words), written specifically to survive being quoted by ChatGPT / Perplexity / Google AI Overviews as a citation. Full content lands in option-1-faq-content.md on your go.

Imputed inputs — flagged for the next brief

  1. Segment briefs. HNW UAE + Middle-Class Indian assumed. Real brief lets Crow write segment-specific variants of each row above. The price anchor (AED 850 for MCI, AED 4,800+ for HNW) and WhatsApp angle (HNW prefers email/phone, MCI prefers WhatsApp) split the difference in v1.
  2. USPs. Three imputed (claim time / WhatsApp / TPL). GIG product team almost certainly has two-to-five more. Those go in the trust strip and hero subhead.
  3. Brand voice. Imputed from UAE category norm + the current page. Anti-patterns (no all-caps "FREE", AED-before-number, builder verbs) should go in WilliamShakespeare/brief.md so Crow enforces them on Option 2 and beyond.
